About the raw material
How we pick and dry
The rosehip flowers from May to July, and the fruit ripens in September and October. We pick it ripe but still firm, because softened fruit loses much of its vitamin content. We dry it slowly, without high heat.
Making tea
Simmer one tablespoon of dried rosehips in 250 ml of water for about 10 minutes, then strain. For a fuller flavour, leave two tablespoons in a thermos with half a litre of water at 60 to 70 °C for a few hours.
