About the raw material
Why slow drying
We dry the fruit for a long time at a low temperature, rather than fast and hot. This way the powder keeps more of the fruit's colour, flavour and composition. After drying we mill the whole fruit, seeds included.
Flavour and use
The powder is slightly tart, with a fruity aroma. It is added to dough together with other flour, to cold and hot drinks and to dry mixes. In cosmetics the fine powder is used as a gentle exfoliant in masks and cleansers.
